I love children, I’ve worked as a soccer ref for 1st and 2nd graders, a babysitter for any age, a middle school math tutor, and I even took a class that allowed me to teach children ages 1-10 in the classroom.


I’m apart of a program called United Sound. I get to spend time in and outside of school teaching Special Education Students how to read and play music on a variety of instruments. For the past year, I’ve worked with a student named Jacob, he’s been learning Tuba. I would adapt the music to be easier to read and find new fun ways to teach him. We wrote quarter notes as cakes, half notes as soups, and 6th notes as donuts. We also color coded the 3 keys on his tuba and would color in the notes on his sheet music to match.
